Throughout the last seven years, experience has taught us that it takes people to serve other people well. Also, when we find the right person for the right job they become a multiplier of opportunity. We expect the Village Health Care Leader to multiply opportunity in a way that is even bigger than we can imagine, and to help the villages we serve produce generation after generation that continues to have better opportunities than the one that came before.
The Village Health Care Leader will be responsible for many important priorities such as connecting villages with existing health care resources, improving existing health care resources, instituting a system of medical records, building teams of volunteers to serve health care needs and working with local partner providers. They will also be responsible for developing strategic plans regarding both preventative medicine and treatment health problems that require urgent or ongoing care.
We are looking for a leader, someone who loves people wholeheartedly, someone who will never quit on the people they serve, and someone who has a passion for making sure people maximize their health. When the people we serve, especially the kids, have to live with constant medical problems it takes away from their potential and takes away from the value they can contribute to society.
We believe that the villages we serve are full of future doctors, lawyers, human rights advocates, and great fighters against injustice.
