Build 30 Homes in La Cuchilla

As some of you may know. I went on a missions trip to Honduras with Humanity and Hope United Foundation (H&H) in the summer of 2018. On that trip I saw first-hand the incredible life-change that was happening in 3 villages through the work of H&H and Warsaw Community Church (WCC). I made some very dear friends in those villages on that trip. I went back to see them earlier this year and was amazed by the spiritual growth, economic development and infrastructure improvements in just one year. The investments by H&H and WCC are bringing the people together in unity with each other and with Jesus. I now lead a group at WCC that supports the a church plant that has been started in 2 of the villages. I will be going back at least a couple times in 2020 to continue to grow my friendships there. You can see that I truly believe in the life-change that is happening and that is why I want to share an opportunity for you to be a part of this change with me. H&H has started a drive to work with the people in La Cuchilla (the poorest of the 3 villages) to build homes for 36 families.

Currently the people in La Cuchilla are thriving. They have jobs, clean water, a brand new school, and access to education (K-12th grade), however they are lacking a place to properly call home. All the homes are made of bamboo, sticks, mud and are crumbling. This is not a sustainable way to live, so I will be hosting a dinner to break bread and break ground. Our goal is to build homes that are safe and enables every person in La Cuchilla to live in thriving conditions.
